Whitney L. White practices primarily in the Firm’s Compliance & Regulatory Section, Consumer Defense Section, Commercial Litigation Section, and Employment Law Section. She represents businesses in the financial services industry in non-public investigations initiated by the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, Federal Trade Commission, and state attorneys general. She also defends clients in both single-plaintiff and class action lawsuits and arbitrations brought under federal and state consumer protection and commercial statues, including the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, the Telephone Consumer Protection Act, and the Fair Credit Reporting Act.
Whitney also represents clients in all aspects of labor and employment law, including advice, development of policies and procedures, and litigation defense.
Whitney is a known and experienced attorney for clients in the financial services industry. She has provided critical assistance and advice to many clients facing difficult regulatory investigations. She has also amassed numerous court victories throughout the country for clients sued under various federal or state consumer protection statutes.
