Spencer M. Schulz
Spencer M. Schulz practices in the firm’s Consumer Defense and Commercial Litigation Groups. Spencer’s practice ranges from simple, single-plaintiff cases to complex, class action lawsuits, and appeals. Spencer has successfully defended clients in scores of lawsuits in courts throughout the country, including several industry-changing cases.
Spencer received his Bachelor of Arts in economics from Columbia University and earned his Juris Doctor, in 2010, from Tulane Law School, where he graduated magna cum laude in the top 3% of his class. At Tulane Law School, Spencer served as a Notes and Comments Editor for the Tulane Law Review and a Senior Fellow in the Legal Research and Writing Department. Spencer was also named to the Order of the Coif and received the Federal Bar Association Award, for attaining his class’s highest cumulative grade point average in the study of federal law, the Charles Janvier Award, for outstanding service to the Tulane Law Review, and book awards in Administrative Law, Federal Courts and Contracts.
Following graduation, Spencer served as a law clerk to the Honorable James J. Brady of the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Louisiana.
Spencer is licensed to practice law in Louisiana and is admitted to the Louisiana federal courts and the Second Circuit Court of Appeals.► Download vCard
