James Lamb

James Lamb serves in the Consumer Defense, Commercial Litigation, Bankruptcy Law, and Appellate Practice Groups.  Before law school, Mr. Lamb worked in nonprofit communications for a Connecticut think tank and assisted faculty diversity and retention efforts at Yale University.

During law school, Mr. Lamb lectured on criminal procedure and race at an art installation designed to grapple with police-involved homicides in minority communities, and organized book discussions and film screenings to educate students and faculty on critical race scholarship.  Mr. Lamb worked as a judicial extern for The Honorable André Birotte Jr. of the United States District Court, Central District of California, and later addressed municipal public expression practices with the American Civil Liberties Union as a First Amendment Advocacy Extern.

Concluding law school, Mr. Lamb successfully argued an immigration case before the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.  He recently clerked for the Honorable Michael P. Linfield of the Superior Court of California, County of Los Angeles. 

Mr. Lamb joined the Firm in 2022 to focus his practice on representing financial institutions in various consumer and commercial litigation disputes.
